2. Accepting these terms & Age of majority

By visiting our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website.

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age (the age of majority in the UK) and possess the legal authority, right, and freedom to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Your account

You can place an order as a guest or by creating an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in violation of these terms.

4. Placing an order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the item(s). A contract between you and Mega Pet Warehouse is only formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email.

An order confirmation email merely acknowledges that we received your order. We reserve the right to cancel an order after confirmation if an item becomes unavailable or a pricing error is identified. Please double-check your delivery address before completing your order, as we cannot amend details once dispatched.

5. Pricing, availability & errors

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP £) and include VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Errors and Omissions: Occasionally there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, transit times, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information on the website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

6. Payment

Payment is taken in full at the time of placing your order. All transactions are processed securely through our chosen payment provider, PayPal.

We do not store your card details on our systems. In the event of suspected fraud, we reserve the right to place the order on hold, request verification, or cancel the order.

 

7. Delivery

We exclusively deliver within the United Kingdom. We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1 to 2 business days (Monday–Saturday). Delivery to UK addresses typically takes a further 3 to 5 business days.

Delivery timeframes are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or severe weather events outside our control. Full details are available in our Shipping Policy.

8. Returns & refunds

Our Returns & Refund Policy forms part of these terms. Key points:

  • You have 30 days from delivery to return an unused, unopened item in its original packaging.

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

  • We do not charge restocking fees.

9. Cancellations

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, provided it has not been dispatched, by contacting us immediately.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you also have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving your goods for any reason (the "cooling-off period"). You are responsible for return postage costs in this scenario unless the item is faulty.

10. Product use & safety

All products sold by Mega Pet Warehouse are intended for use with pets in a domestic setting. It is your responsibility to:

  • Read all product labels, instructions, and safety warnings before use.

  • Ensure any product is suitable for your specific pet (consult a vet if in doubt).

  • Keep products out of reach of children where indicated.

We are not liable for any harm arising from the misuse of a product or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website—including product descriptions, images, logos, branding, and text—is the property of Mega Pet Warehouse or our content suppliers and is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce or commercially exploit any part of this website without our express written permission.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or products.

  • Our total liability to you shall not exceed the value of the order in question.

  • We do not guarantee the website will be available at all times without interruption.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.

13. Your consumer rights

As a UK consumer, you have rights protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality) and the UK GDPR regarding your personal data. We comply fully with these laws.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our business or the law. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
